Their 24 jumping around. Paris is so frustrating today

Come on, Paris. He’s probably gonna have to be subbed shortly.

Well, based on that half we have nothing to fear from them but we really need to make the most of our dominance.

Groundhog Day
Better team
Shite officials
Poor final ball / lack of end product
Player injured
Got to make the most of our chances and possession.

I really hope we don't regret that. Can't believe how passive they were and can't imagine they will be again. Absolutely bossed it without scoring. If I'd picked the Wigan team that's how they'd have played.
Geth has been really poor since he came back, not sure what he's offering right now.

Paris's alleged foul late on - his third of the game - makes it 8 from us on them, 9 the other way, according to the idiots in charge.Mar wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 9:02 pmCheers

Don’t say that, because you missed a criterion…officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 9:04 pmGroundhog Day

But it's on for us to absolutely batter this lot if we get it right. They're woeful. I'd quite like that please.

I'm not entirely sure they'll change much. I certainly hope they don't. Maloney's style seems fairly set - again, over the season they have the lowest press, and the slowest build-up.Prufrock wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 9:05 pmI really hope we don't regret that. They're beatable. Couple of tweaks at HT, stop feeling sorry for Carlos, crack the f**k on and beat these bastards.

We really really should be beating this lot, shite pitch or not. Appreciate Collins thrown on unexpectedly but we need more from him in particular.

Marvellously, with their first shot on target - an Alfie May pen. Mind, Derby have only had one shot on target too.

Lot breaking down with Collins at present. Evatt’s comments that he may only meet his potential next year: well, perhaps. Maybe it isn’t a case of us trying to integrate him (wholesale, at least) and more a case of us playing to his strengths. His movement is great and it’s clear he wants the early ball. Hopefully Thommo gets the chance to play him through, as Coleman did so well.

It's not out of the question; Iredale can pass well from deep, and there's been a lot of that from Santos and Sheehan. I like Nat and I think he'll stay on for a while but the last thing we need is another 10-man game.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 9:13 pmWe'd lose what he offers going forward but I wonder if Evatt's thinking about hooking him for Iredale?

Collins is a curious one. Looks very much like a "link" player and that can take time. Also looks like he wants to play anywhere but in the middle - that makes me hope he will fit well with Dion. But yeah, it's not happening yet.BorsdaneWhite wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 9:13 pmLot breaking down with Collins at present.
