Top 5 all winning, as you were...
Aye. Which is kind of alright really given we have the game in hand... unusual that nobody's slipped up, although Barnsley were behind twice and Pompey took their time.

Clear frustration by Adeboyejo there. Decent run made from him and Collins opted to pass out wide and Ogbeta took an age to get the ball across.

I'd like to see Williams given a run out here. Not that Ogbeta's done badly, just that it's harder for Williams to come into the Barnsley match than it is for this one.

Well, Evatt gave the Wigan XI (bar CMG) the chance to go again, but now it's time for subs please. Protect Sheehan!!

Why the hell is Sheehan staying on now?!

Er why are we making two midfield subs and not saving Sheehan?!

Sheehan doesn't need protecting here. He's not getting kicked about the pitch and unless he pulls someone back or does a bad foul I think he'll be ok.

It's probably a case of Sheehan not starting on Tuesday.

Given the other subs are 2x strikers, 2x centre-backs and a winger, looks like he's going to have to tread that tightrope for another 15+ minutes

Given how he was targeted in the home match, that wouldn't be surprising

That disallowed goal by Vic didn't look like handball to me. Harsh.

Love you mate but I don't agree with a word of that. Sheehan HAS to start at Barnsley or Evatt's madder than any of us thought.

And yeah, I meant protection from a daft yellow not a kicking, but the latter's always an option

Anyways. Both strikers swapped for the old fellas, and Williams on for Ogbeta. Fair enough

I get the impression Evatt's likely to leave a player on the pitch if they're not starting the next game.

I think Sheehan's part of our best line up that we've got so I like yourself think it would be a strange choice. Perhaps Sheehans intended as a late impact sub after we've played a different type of game thats less reliant on Sheehan.

I'd say Thomo if anything with Dempsey and Maghoma further up the pitch if that was to be the case.

God we're horrible to watch when the home guard comes on and we decide we've finished attacking.

The performance here reminds me of the same as the performance against Wigan, the only difference is how good the opposition is.

Not something to get carried away with, but glad to see us back to winning ways.
