Cheers ref. Attempting to slice someone down on the break doesnt get yellows but Sheehan and Maghoma get theirs?
Questionable yellows....
We could do with upping the tempo. Games gone flat, just like this result will end up if we dont up the game.
Great clearing header from Santos.

Well that was some of the worst football I've seen in ages. From both sides.

Absolute cow-field, this. But that's not the only problem.

I fear it might appear on a Craps20sFootball Twitter/X account in 20 years' time.

Struggling to think of one positive to take from this second half.
Can't even say its the clean sheet. We've gifted them two clear opportunities to go ahead (Toal, Santos).

Well, a point better than Posh/Barnsley but two worse than Derby – and sadly that's an accurate assessment of us.

Story of the season. Not quite good enough for the top 2.
No point rushing Bax and Dion back now. Get them reintegrated ready for the play offs.

Would have been a decent point elsewhere in the season, but at this point in time, not good enough.

And that’s why I didn’t celebrate northamptons win last weekend. It’s over folks.

Another 2 points dropped.
Playoffs it is as this side aren't catching Derby. Where was the fecking urgency? Absolutely unacceptable.
Ian needs to start answering questions as that isn't entertaining or successful.

Boos ringing around the stadium at the end of the match. Pretty poor watching for both teams.
No urgency. Players don't seem to want it enough for us to make up the gap.
But if you were to look at this game in a different point in the season, it's not a bad result. Pompey drew 0-0 here, Derby lost 3-1 here and Peterborough drew 2-2.
As frustrating a result as this is, it's not the reason we'll be in the playoffs. The likes of losing to Carlisle at home, the Wigan double and the dropped points vs Exeter and Charlton thats done it.
Where the fk is the rallying cry?!?!?!

Frustrating that. We were much better than them but lacked that cutting edge. Story of the season unfortunately.
I'm not giving up though and results elsewhere over recent weeks are showing there are still many twists and turns to be had before all the games are through.
Well done to Coleman again - not a huge amount to do but did what was required when it was required. And hats off to Forrester to - there's a very handy player in there and he will only get better with games.
Much obliged for the seat on the couch as always....

Ian can answer questions at the end of the season if he fails in his objective to get promotion. It’s not good enough with this squad of players - why were the wingbacks not changed? Both were ineffective and he had options that he has signed on the bench. Kyle Dempsey? Aaron Morley? Pointless.
Better side brings us 1 point, not three today Ian.

Has Evatt gone out there and told them to take it slightly easy given we've got a Monday fixture coming up?
I can't understand why we'd be so pedestrian in that second half when we need a win.

7 crosses in a row were blocked by the first man or keeper.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 5:01 pmIan can answer questions at the end of the season if he fails in his objective to get promotion. JDC doesn't offer anything on the right wing other than a drive into the middle or a pass back into defence or midfield.
