This is what the EU does with our money, this is what the EU does for you

In almost 20 years the North West has had 'massive' funding to the tune of £1.3 billion, 20 fecking years!
One reason the public is not always aware of the number of UK projects and programmes co-funded by the EU is that – in contrast to some member states, where billboards proudly declaring “part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund” are hard to avoid – Britain sometimes seems reluctant to give unnecessary publicity to the EU.

So-called “gratitude plaques” are a contractual requirement of receiving EU aid
And the we have to doff caps and show gratitude to promote this obscene organisation for giving the UK taxpayer back a fraction of which we contribute.

I found it quite interesting to find out just how much went into the arts, no wonder the arty farty and luvie types are all in favour of remain.
If theatres and the like were such a rip roaring success, surely they'd pay for themselves? They bloody well should.
I agree it would be dead good for the North West to let the British government decide on the level of investment. I mean it's not like the Tories would ever leave the North of England to rot is it....oh..... :hang:

David Cameron's hypocrisy knows no bounds. It's breathtaking.
Before Khan became Mayor he was questioning his judgement, his connections and his fitness to hold such a key position in the capital. He effectively endorsed the dreadful, dog-whistle campaign run by Goldsmith and sought to conflate Khan with extremists/extremism. Now, though, "he's a proud Brit, a proud Muslim, a great Mayor".
Trust him with your vote do you, or are you stupid enough to give it him in the belief it's not really for him, his chums in business and the zealot one worlders.

I reckon the Tories under Heseltine did more for Merseyside than the EU, don't let facts get in the way of your one world socialist utopia you wish to create via the EU monster.

I find him fecking hilarious, more so because he attempts to portray himself as being credible. A mate of mine who's a supporter of Boris clings to the notion that he must be intelligent because he's studied Greek Classics. Yeah, I did Latin in the second year and a fat lot of good that's done me.

Hardly. When I'm away I find that I can work most words out by dint of them being Latin based, except for when I'm in Finland, where every word just looks like a most unfortunate draw from the Scrabble bag. ;)

Frances O’Grady, the general secretary of the TUC, has ridiculed senior Brexit campaigners for painting themselves as the champions of working people, as she warns that wages would be £38 a week lower outside the European Union.
should read

Frances O’Grady, the general secretary of the TUC, has been ridiculed for painting the TUC as the champions of working people, as she warns that wages would be £38 a week lower outside the European Union if there were any vacancies for Brits to fill.
(never mind we don't care who funds our positions do we? Better still if they haven't a clue what we are after)

No, in hoboh world, quote "Johnny scratchcard" would have no excuses nor would many of the bleating youth for not getting out of their pits and developing work ethics.
In answer to another point, why not have proper jobs locally to people, it builds communities, not an artificial one spread thousands of miles apart manufactured by a political elite and their multinational pay masters.

They don't have a (valid) excuse in this world.

Oh right, maybe not 'valid' in your eyes but whatever they are doing is working or maybe all the jobs they are capable of are filled with EU overseas nationals in reality?

'There were 745,000 job vacancies for February to April 2016. This was 18,000 fewer than for the 3 months to January 2016, the largest quarterly fall since April to June 2011. However, the number of vacancies for February to April 2016 was 13,000 more than for a year earlier.'

ALL THE JOBS ARE FILLED BY EU MIGRANTS! I WANT CURVED BANANAS IN BUNCHES OF MORE THAN THREE!
