Henrik Larsson to ManUre

Manchester United will sign veteran striker Henrik Larsson on a three-month loan deal in January.
The 35-year-old former Celtic striker will leave current club Helsinborg in January and return when the Swedish season starts in March.

Premiership leaders United are short of options up front, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer injured and Alan Smith still seeking full fitness.

That leaves Wayne Rooney and Louis Saha as their only recognised strikers.

Larsson left Barcelona at the end of last season to join hometown club Helsinborg.

He spent two seasons in Spain and played a decisive role in this year's Champions League final when he came on in the second half and set up both goals in the defeat of Arsenal

I'd have liked to see him at our place - ok 35 but a class act.

When we signed him at 33 y/o our doctors were amazed at his fitness levels. He's much like Gary Speed in this regard.

Excellent player with great class and goal scoring skills, but should go to a smaller club where he can make a greater difference rather than a bench warmer at United.

Would be happy with him at Bolton.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Agreed all round ... except he's reported to be getting £125k per week whilst on loan. Can you believe that ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
