If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I'm confused, I don't remember Man Yoo ever being shown on Channell 4.
A wise old owl, lived in an oak.
The more he saw,the less he spoke.
The less he spoke, the more heard.
I wish I was that wise old bird.

I'll never forget that episode of Postman Pat where he turned up at the Post Office and Mrs Goggins was nowhere to be seen... My young 18 year-old mind imagined all sorts of horrors before he eventually found her round the back hanging out the washing.

I had nightmares for weeks...

Well I'm glad it shocked someone else too, 23 26 29 58. It's one of those films that I've been meaning to watched for years and years yet never got round to it until it was on C4 last week. I thought that I was beyond being shocked by acting, clearly not. It's possibly the most graphic, appalling, terrifying, sickening scene I've ever seen on any film. A real head wrecker. :vomit:

Thirty years since "Scum" was first screened. It had much the same impact then as now and was x-rated. Trouble is then it was a sickener for everybody. Today, Carlin will be a hero in Chavsville and a lot of snooker and pool halls will probably find they are short on balls. (make of that what you will)

Violence is nothing new from Teddy boys with coshes, cut-throat razors and belts in the fifties, to Mods and Rockers with hammers and lead pipe in the sixties. Knew a nutcase Wanderers supporter forty years ago who had razor blades sewn in the peak of his cap. Only went to matches for the aggro. Not much changes.

Didn't see it on channel 4. Did they cut the riot in the food hall at the end? (Like they do on the video)

Brilliant film and a platform for some fine English actors. Even Ray Winstone.
