You are talking shite and I've given you the examples previously, yet like others you choose to ignore them, something you seem incapable of when it comes to buying certain papers and watching certain TV programmes. You and others are adopting this pious intelligentsia position, you think the Celebrity Culture is beneath you somehow. This argument is nonsense, you don't understand it so it's wrong. It's the kind of view that gets monkeys hung.
I was never engaging in an argument, I was offering my opinion. Something that you seem to have a problem with. If you think my point of view is 'shite' then why bother wasting your intellect on me? You've ignored the core of what I was saying in any case. You've stated that you don't like the 'Celebrity Culture' yourself, which is all I have done - in a few more words. So I really don't understand why you are getting so aggravated by it all.
No you moaned because this celebrity stuff is "everywhere", but you don't like it being pointed out it's easy to avoid if you want to.
You can avoid celebrity culture in the same way you can avoid religion. The two are all but identical premises.
FIGHT !!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
