If this was aimed at me, I'm sure you'll find comfort in knowing im 15.

Right on Zulu, he once recorded a solo using two matchsticks on a matchbox. Amazing. Buddy Rich and Kenny Johns were ace and two years ago I went to watch Eric Dealney (ninety if he's a day), just awesome (to use a Daxterism)

Gene Krupa was even better after his rehab. Couldn't and can't be beaten. Surprisingly Norman Wisdom is also quite a tasty drummer.

!2 year old kid has a gift. Hope he's alowed to profit from it. 8)

Seconded. Also Ian Paice and Cozy Powell and Nick Mason and Alex van Halen and Lars Ulrich and Keith Moon, but NOT Phil Collins.

Are you just randomly naming drummers, or do you actually think he's any good?

For my money Eric Singer and Eric Carr where both better drummers than Criss.

I guess it depends which Kiss albums are your favourites or whether you prefer original line-ups to replacements.

I guess if we're talking about innovative and inspiring drummers we should look no further than Rik Allen of Def Leppard. What he endured to get himself back on the stool is definitely to be applauded. Don't rate the band, but hey.
