Alreet lads.

Reet, what the problem is, is when I try to load Football Manager 2007, I am met with a blank screen. I have uninstalled it, but now it won't reinstall. What else can I try, short of dropping me laptop doon the stairs?

Has it definitely been uninstalled? Go to add/remove programs to check that it's not on there still.

Assuming your loading it from a CD/DVD, is that drive working? Do other CDs work?
I've had a similar problem before that was a broken drive.

you don't turn on and off until you've shutdown and restarted, you lept straight to page 2 of the IT technician's handbook.

Page 3 is "unistall and reinstall software"
Page 4 is replace hardware

nobody's ever read beyond that

It looks like it's an RTFM problem.

or you could try this page which describes a lot of the bugs with the game and how to fix them

I had this problem with FM2005. Go Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Cleanup. Let it do it's thing, and everything should be working again.

Mine works if you load it, but cos i've loads of self installed graphics it takes 2mins with a black screen, then hey presto.

Try loading it then leaving it for 5 mins or so.
