a manager doesn't sell his best players, a board does that. watching Fulham they have always been poor and unorganised defensively and are even more of a blunt long-ball team than the media think we are. since malbranque and boa morte left you struggle to see class in their teamEpitaph wrote:Coleman didn't take Fulham anywhere. He kept them as a below average side and sold off all their best players.
incidently, £2m for Zat Knight quoted around papers recently, I'd take him

Alas, there was no edit. However, TD, as our physical powers decrease we are supposed to gain wisdom (even if we do repeat ourselves as my children occasionally point out).TANGODANCER wrote:Sorry Bruce. Didn't spot that one first time. Was it an edit or do I need to visit Specsavers?

Sometimes a new manager injects a bit of life into the players (Pardew at Charlton for instance) and it could be a move that will keep them in the premiership, however it'll be next season in which they WILL struggledaxter15 wrote:I am shocked at this. Coleman has done a decent job at Fulham and sacking him at this stage of the season will only serve to increase their chances of relegation. A ludicrous decision that Fulham may well come to regret.

Coleman is a quality manager that in my view, kept a piss poor club that is only to happy to sell their best players in the Premiership for years. After the players they sold before this season I had them to go down bottom of the pile, yet Coleman managed to keep them pretty safe.
I expect Fulham to see this next season, when they struggle like hell to get out of the bottom three.
If Sam went on and got the England job, I would have no problems having him at Bolton.
