Best Bolton Pub for Wanderers support?
Many pubs have mixed followings, just wondered if there are still many all "Wanderers" pubs left?

Are you talking about the TW headquarters, the renowned "Beehive"?Epitaph wrote:There's one about 15 minutes walk away from the ground, I've never caught the name of it even though I drive past it about ten times a week. It's on that long road where Barnstormers is, a bit further down. There's always a load of Bolton fans outside so I'd say that's a good one.

Nah. Bromilow Arms probably.TANGODANCER wrote:Are you talking about the TW headquarters, the renowned "Beehive"?Epitaph wrote:There's one about 15 minutes walk away from the ground, I've never caught the name of it even though I drive past it about ten times a week. No not the Beehive. If you go to Barnstormers, and walk along that straight road away from the ground, there's a pub there. It's near that Watson's Steel place.TANGODANCER wrote:Are you talking about the TW headquarters, the renowned "Beehive"?Epitaph wrote:There's one about 15 minutes walk away from the ground, I've never caught the name of it even though I drive past it about ten times a week. Yes, The Bromilow Arms. You couldn't really call the Beehive an 'all Bolton' pub anyway as it's always half filled with visiting supporters.Epitaph wrote: No not the Beehive. Bromilow Arms
It's not a "bolton" pub though. Always lots of away fans in there and the owners are welsh egg-chucking fans.

Actually the owner is a Citeh fan & usually dashes off to the home games - they are Welsh though, so it serves him right.communistworkethic wrote:Epitaph wrote:There's one about 15 minutes walk away from the ground, I've never caught the name of it even though I drive past it about ten times a week. Nobody calls it the Bromilow though. It's one of those pubs that's known by it's long-established nom-de-plume, the Bonnie Lassies.warthog wrote:Samuel Crompton's Ale for me please.americantrotter wrote:Don't forget Old Slapper.communistworkethic wrote:egg chuckers too, look at that crap behind the bar!
The big thing the Bromilow's favour is it's serving of Bank Top Brewery's beers, notably Brydge Bitter and Flat Cap.
