Exactly what I thought.

Also, I went in a bit late, how long was it, it seemed really short?

I haven't liked The Simpsons for years, really. The year 1999 would've been a good time to release a movie.

The trouble with the Simpsons is that they never grew any older. I think if they had had the kids slowly growing up it would've kept it fresher. I mean Bart should be about 28 or something by now, shouldn't he? How many great storylines could have been covered by now?

Just an opinion - hey, what do I know?

it's flagged for years

still raises the odd chuckle but nothing like the satirical humour it once had that left you with a wry smile as well as creating a lot of belly laughs

Never been a fan of The Simpsons. Just really dull whenever I have seen it. If I want to watch a cartoon I will watch Bananaman or Batfink.

My super sonic solar rador will help me.

And how hard was Karate? Batfink and Karate are two proper cartoon characters.

It does seen very short for a film at a cinema. I hope they are charging less for that film.

I went to see it last night and I found it a bit disappointing.

Funny in places, but certainly not vintage Simpsons. An hour and twenty minutes (how short is that?!) following the Simpsons family in its entirety means that a lot of the good peripheral characters and locations were missed out or under-used.

Shame really, but it's probably worth watching and I'm sure millions will.

A lot of those in the cinema at the same time as me seemed to be laughing a lot (at times when I was barely smiling) - it was like being in a room full of the people who create the canned laughter for the likes of Friends... made me feel somewhat out of touch.

What the bloody hell did you all expect? You can see 1 hour 20 mins of the Simpsons every night on Sky one ffs!

What was you hoping for? Jokes that were twice as funny as the TV programme? Better special effects? Homor to say 'Duh' more?

The Simpsons is always the back up programme after you surf the channels, only to find Judge Judy and repeats of Police stop, Dog the Bounty Hunter and Friends.

The Simpsons are the saviours of Sky TV and should have been left there were they belong and are beloved by all who eat their tea in the front room!!

Oh, and there was no need to see Bart Simpson's cock either.

Nor the drug taking scene. Desperate to shock - rubbish.

They have held off making it for years, so I thought they were desperate to make something that was a bit special. Maybe that's why I'm disappointed...

Some it was good, but some of it, such as the spoof advertising of another programme on the Fox Network that ran across the bottom of the screen, was cringeworthy.
