Are the new fifa/pro evo's gonna be better in HD lad?
then no
cos you don't buy fifa
it's wank
i only bought it to fill in the gap til PES
and PES isnt HD.
So unless you spend hours on Gears of War, then don't rush to upgrade.
What games you playing on it?hisroyalgingerness wrote:its changed my lifehisroyalgingerness wrote:i just got an hd ready tv today and fook me... i heard rumours it made a big difference but this has blown me away. looks fantastic
well, the life away from fresh air
I like fifa. Always have. But obviously getting pro evo. I'll have them both - variety is the spice of lie hahaBatman wrote:Altha1 wrote:I'll be mainly playing footy games - fifa and pro evo but other

ALL Xbox 360 games ARE in HD. Its in the terms of agreement between developers and Microsoft.
All games developed MUST be displayed at 720p which is HD.

Yeah but I think EA just have this thing about saying their games are in HD whereas everyone just takes it for granted that of course any Xbox 360 games are in HD.Batman wrote:InterestingBWFC_Insane wrote:INCORRECT.Batman wrote:Altha1 wrote:I'll be mainly playing footy games - fifa and pro evo but other games as well

The only xbox 360 game that wasn't in true HD was Project Gotham Racing 3 (the first game released for the 360) but this was 480p which is close enough that only those with the biggest tv's would notice.
nah , that dunt sound true . from what i know the previous post is true ..BWFC_Insane wrote:

people (including me) might be getting mixed up with this-
theres not many (none as yet?) games that use the 1080p resolution properly yet , theyre 720p upscaled to 1080 (dependant on yr settings on your console and your tv) ..
theyre both (the 720p and 1080p res's) are 16:9 ratio , so it 'works' ok ..
theres loadsa stories of games being made in wierd resolutions then edited downwards/upwards to fit certain tv / monitor resolutions (almost as many as motion picture films ..)
old normal tv (espesh PAL ones) has wacky resolutions , either the 'pixels' are not square or the resolution doesnt exactly match the shape of the tv or both (kinda why old pal snes games had borders and were squashed) .. and anamorphic widescreen makes it wackyier ..
its daft , HD's resolutions make more sense ..
but whatever..
half life 2 is being re-released next week with bells and whistles on .

All Xbox 360 games are produced in 720p resolution which IS an HD resolution compatible with widescreen. The problems people have seem to be with certain television set ups and up and downscaling.a1 wrote:nah , that dunt sound true . from what i know the previous post is true ..BWFC_Insane wrote:

However, I use a widescreen monitor and non of my games look stretched or incorrectly scaled, although to be fair they did until an update about 6 months ago!
