I think 28 Days Later is a zombie film. They certainly look like zombies to me, shambling round, eating people and turning infected victims into zombies.
not zombies as they're not dead. They're just infected with the Rage virus.

I am legend - same scenario, different virus
Shaun of the Dead, then. :D

Agree totally. It's incredibly well scripted, in the way it truncates the novel and loses nothing. The final showdown where Cushing crosses the candlesticks then rips the curtains down to defeat the Count is tops.

As far as zombie films go, then for a straight take Zombie Flesh Eaters is what you need. For a sick riot of a zombie film, look no further than Braindead.
Yeah thats a fooked up film. Peter Jackson did that and the brilliant Bad Taste before all that Lord of the Rings bollox.

So are we saying that Sarah Jessica Parker is a zombie horse?

sean of the dead is great, but I leave it out of the genre because it was a spoof of sorts. One hell of a spoof that got me into zombie flicks.

Shaun of the Dead isn't a spoof.

It's a genuine zombie movie made by fans of the genre, and is definitely not a piss take.

The producers have described it as a rom-zom-com.

you're right but he appears to be talking about "sean of the dead", perhaps that is a zombie spoof
