Are you sure that's Cannibal Holocaust? I thought it was Cannibal Ferox...Batman wrote:Seen Cannibal Holocaust before, I wonder what she'll do when the knob-chopping-off scene comes on.........
But you could be right.

Awesome.
might watch it again later!"I have always maintained to anyone interested that this series is the best piece of television drama ever made...Great to see we weren't the only ones to be amazed at the brilliance of this show - the writing , the performances, the realism - it really was a lost masterpiece."

Shizzle yeah motherfizzle. Wonder if they'll show the bit where the power to the speakers went off for two minutes. Consummate professional, he simply conducted the handclaps and smiled a lot until sonic order was restored.KeeeeeeeBaaaaaaab wrote:The usual fodder of Would I Lie To You? and QI for me tonight. Tempted by watching Neil Diamond's Glastonbury set on BBC4 at 10pm, because DSB said it was ace when he was there.

went out to the flics to watch the X-files fillum.....
was a bit like a longer episode of the X-files really... not dire - not spectacular..
if you go and see it - wait til the end of the credits - there is a weirdy bit at the end - which (I am told) is supposed to provide a bridge to the third fillum - or (if there is no third fillum) a resolution of the whole thing..
not sure it did myself... but....

I rarely watch television. I am rather partial to choral works.
We had a series called 'The Battle of the Choirs' (no doubt the idea of which was stolen from you lot) which culminated in the selection of a winner last weekend. I heard part of the semi-finals of this charade the week before and was not impressed.
HOWEVER, part of the final involved all three (yes, 3) finalist choirs singing Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody - together - with each choir following their own conductor/director. "Right," says I, "here's a right stuff up in the making." Unfortunately I didn't record it; it was brilliant!
