Tango goes to Hollywood.

To give you all a break (and CWE to find someone else to argue with  ) I'm flying off to the land of hamburgers and celebrities (cough) early Friday morning. Not quite Hollywood but its parent state, Los Angeles, to be exact. Staying in Simi Valley and planning visits to Catalina Island, Santa Barbara and Santa Monica. Couple of rounds of golf planned that are not three inches deep in water too. I'll be around until midnight or so tomorrow then give you all a rest till I get back. :D

Have fun, and whilst you're there, if you can point out that colour has a 'u' in it, and herbs is pronounced herbs, it'll save me venting my spleen on the bad words thread.

Oh, and make sure you spread the BWFC gospel.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Will do all that and, to quote Monty's favourite Flashmanism "Americans shouldn't talk about honour, they can't even spell the damned thing" (or words to that effect)

Also, insist on using the lift, not elevator.

Lucky bugger. Nothing like a bit of warm-weather training for the TW Masters, eh?! :D

Have a good one, TD.

I'm told the course is Tierra Rejada at Moor Park . Means not a thing to me, but my son plays there and says it's the bees knees. Love the electric cart bit instead of all that walking in a hundred degree heat. I'll report on my return as to how many (golf-balls that is) and try for a few photos

Even if you fancy a smoke never ask to bum a fag. Gets a strange reaction.

Thanks all for the good wishes. I'm still here because the taxi's coming at 5-0 am and I'd have to be up at 3-30 or so. Hardly worth it. :D
