When do we receive judgement on our taste in music?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

How about your esteemed appraisal of the Mercury Prize nominees?

Saw him at a small gig in Belfast last year. He was awesome. He spent hours afterwards signing CD's and tshirts. He's a cool, cool guy.

Correct. I think it was his 4th or 5th Solo Album after the group breaking up. He did this album with his buddy Mick Ronson.

Mick Ronson -one of the greatest guitarists ever, and sh*t on by Bowie by never granting him any royalties from those first five albums they did together.

Never heard it before, shall have a listen.

Assuming you don't have Appetite for Destruction by Guns n Roses (which every record collection should have) then I'd recommend Motley Crue's Dr Feelgood album. Couple of shite slow ones, but an excellent album nonetheless, one of the best rock albums of the 80's.

Alas, much of the stuff I'd recommend is a touch too underground for bittorrent.

Where do you get your downloads from?
I have the same problem with bittorrent, espescially when looking for some older 70's/80's stuff.
I use emusic, it's subscription but a lot of good stuff on there.
€17 a month for 50 tracks.

I pay for my music!

But yeah, unfortunately I have to resort to buying the actual cd off ebay/amazon more often than not.

I shall check out emusic though, sounds like it could be worth a look.

Hundreds to name but one that springs to mind is Bloc Party's 'Another Weekend in the City', b-sides taken from the 2nd album, well worth a listen, could have been an album of it's own I reckon (It's not an official release, it was compiled by fans)
