Count me in MWCIEA, looks like a sound course, and at that price (you can get us all on for £15??) it's a bargain.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:Right, could do with confirmation of who's in if I'm going to book the tee-times... it is the Ladies' Club Championships that day, but it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll be up for either, don't mind, just count me in.

Yeah, everyone who wants to can play for £15, and there will be no handicap certificates required.
Arrowe Park is poor at the best of times, and is indeed likely to be even poorer at the moment.
So...
MWCIEC
CWE
Bruce
Blurred
Fatshaft
Ratbert
Dr Hotdog
Jimbo?
TonyCunningham'sWilly?
Worthy?
HRG?
Keveh?
Anyone else?
I'll whizz Bolton Billy a text and see if he can make it...

You'll be pleased to know that I am in horrific form - played down in Hampshire with my brother on Monday and it was quite possibly the worst round I've ever played. The strong winds didn't help, but even I can't blame them for the number of completely shanked drives and duffed shots I was hitting. Awful. To compound matters I've now injured my shoulder and neck playing cricket in the rain. Oh dear oh dear.

Stand by for a flying visit to Lourdes and a miracle recovery.blurred wrote:You'll be pleased to know that I am in horrific form - played down in Hampshire with my brother on Monday and it was quite possibly the worst round I've ever played. You're lucky. I'm having trouble swinging a crutch right now.blurred wrote:The only Lourdes around here is a hospital on Greenbank Road...TANGODANCER wrote:Stand by for a flying visit to Lourdes and a miracle recovery.
If it were this Sunday I'd almost certainly be out, wouldn't fancy swinging a club at the moment at all. Hopefully a week's R and R will see me fit to go.

Just had a text off of him. Pencil him in depending on tee times.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:Yeah, everyone who wants to can play for £15, and there will be no handicap certificates required.

Thanks to Bruce and Mummy for the texts.
I do have a free w/e next w/e so I'm going to Fulham to give those marvelous Super Whites some much needed support. We're doing the choo choo and Stella thingy, so I'll be easy prey for all but the most severe of hack bags. However, that said, I'm up for it. I've played very little this year (again!) what with the weather and the life style commitments but next Sunday falls just perfect.
Can we play partners Stableford as well as keeping individual scores, drawn out on the day, just for added fun for the less competent? Perhaps a high low draw? I'll do a Buggy if my poor partner would like to join me.
I did say to Bruce & Mummy that I'd prefer and earlier tee than normal, but that's before I found out we're playing over an hour away and I'll the hangover from hell, however 11 bells would be perfect for me, but earlier or later I'll still make the effort. I have mischief planned for later on so I can't be too late.
I'll be driving the aged Warrior from Bolton if anyone fancies a lift.
