Gosh that's an early start for a piss pot who's going to Fulham with 72 cans of imported Stella. I'll be giving it my best shot though so still count me in please.

Will it take me about an hour 15 from Bolton at a steady ecofriendly 55 mph?

Think we'll have to revise our departure time in light of this new information, Jimbo. Shall we say nineish rather than nine thirtyish? We'll just have to rely on you being suitably lead-footed down the A roads of the Wirral to make sure we get there on time :D

Obviously I would encourage people to get there in good time, but I'll probably go out last in the 10.20 tee-time in case there are any stragglers.

I'll draw out the groups and pairs (if the numbers work) on the day.

Commie, do you want to do the honours with your handicapping system?

Right, I'm off to go and play 9 holes. I smashed my thumb in with a hammer this week (idiot) so here's hoping I can still play.

Right, so Commie's pulled a calf-muscle and Mummy smashed his thumb with a hammer. My money's on one of them to win.

That still cracks me up - I'd love to have been there to see Commie swinging it out of his boots to generate that extra little bit of heat...

I think my thumb's ok now, no excuses... hurt like feck at the time though! Thankfully today was my last as a builder for a while, or probably ever.
