What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I've just sussed out how to play Dizzy by Throwing Muses, but have explored all the difficult angles before establishing that it's actually one of those easy ones that just sounds as though it might be difficult. :?

Yeah they're really good.

We're making a long journey to play a 'one off' gig at the Lexington on the 29th. Good venue? Cheap drinks?

It's a nice little place. The drinks are pretty standard london (£3 for a pint of strongbow). There is a bar downstairs and the gig bit is upstairs. Probably talking the size of the Roadhouse if you're familiar with it. I would come and lend my support but I will be away that weekend :)

Yeah I dig the Roadhouse a lot, probably the best venue of its size in Manchester - although it's one of the only venues in town we've never played!

Just got in from the Jarvis Cocker gig. Absolutely fantastic. The guy is so wonderfully odd and ooses charisma. Met him after the show as well and a nice guy to boot and also signed a set-list for me. Happy days.

I've avoided this post for 109 pages ... thinking "playing" meant "which game where you playing". I accidentally open it to find it's music !!

I'm currently on a major downloading spree having stored all my (& a mate or two's) music & downloads on a stand-alone hard-drive.

I've now got onto the basis of "why not ?" combined with collection completion.

Being old(er) and into blues & guitar-blues I thought I'd give Humble Pie & Savoy Brown a go. (if you're under 50 you may need to look them up, I recommend MC Strong's 'Great Rock Discography' collections).

Oh, why did I wait so long ??

Black Coffee, anyone ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Not been on these boards for while, so whilst catching up I've had a bit of a Pantera-thon. Giving 'Far Beyond Driven' & 'The Great Southern Trendkill' a spin.
Don't call it a comeback
