Fancy Dress

Post by Raven » Wed Jan 28, 2009 12:24 pm

So another fancy dress party to go to, this ones theme is Heros and Adventurers, any original ideas

Not bloody Indiana Jones, I hate the films and too obvious!

My choices were

Nelson, Vlad Tepes (Dracula the real one - a Romanian hero), Genghis Khan but currently its The Crow I am going for...but can't find any decent sites just the sual cheap plasticky/nylon shite

Scooby Doo is an option too

So any ideas?

I hate fancy dress. If i was the King, I would sentance anyone attending a fancy dress to a week in the stocks - and the organisers would get a month!

if every other party wasnt a fancy dress i might be more leniant - but the concept just seems to get hammered to death.

Every friday night at our SU it's fancy dress, I wouldn't mind it once a month or on special occassions but every seven days?! FFS.

You need to go as Lara Croft. It'll be a right laugh.

It would limit it.

Too many drunken "broken glasses" incidents has forced me to wear contacts when on the lash so I managed to get away with it.

The first people (so it is said) to wear fancy dress were Adam and Eve. I refuse to forgive them their legacy.

I love fancy dress parties with my hubby and 5 year small kid. Last week we went for a fancy dress party and I bought a baby spiderman dress for my kid. We was very happy on that event.

Unless it is in Virginia or Florida! How can someone's first post dredge up a four-year old thread? :conf:

Somebody else came on here recently and dredged up a 4 year old thread for their first and only post - something to do with bedrooms and 16 year girls. I think we've got a serial WUM and a peodo to boot. Get the rozzers on 'em.
That's not a leopard!

Holds lots of happy memories for me having visited as a 10 year old. Now I deal with a company on Arnesteinweg and get to go back there regularly. Choc full of wonderful places to eat, and the locals are amongst the friendliest an most welcoming imaginable, as well as it being a beautiful place too.
