Not cool.

Is it possible to eat that lot in 20mins? I think the toast without the drink would be the deciding factor unless you used it to make 5 sandwiches using the eggs.

Fair enough! I was hoping it might be research for your eagerly awaited article (due this week) on "detailing what I had for tea each night".Bruno wrote:Because I wanted to, cheers xMontreal Wanderer wrote:Why are you repeating FD's info, Bruno? As for your question - only a few could manage it and fewer still would wish to, IMHO of course.

I could just have this breakfast and I think it'd last a week to be fairMontreal Wanderer wrote:Fair enough! Hopefully they supply doggy bags (or whatever they may be called in the UK). The challenge reminds me of something I posted a few years ago. One had twenty minutes to eat a four pound hamburger with or without drinks - it would not only be free but one could win a pot of around $500 at the time. It doesn't sound much but no one had succeeded till then. I ask them to show me the bun and took this picture:Bruno wrote:I could just have this breakfast and I think it'd last a week to be fairMontreal Wanderer wrote:Fair enough! We'd look forward to having you but I must warn you the unsubtle approach tends only to work in Western Canada where the burger challenge was. Girls in the East are far more sophisticated and you have to buy them a drink first.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:You asked some young ladies to show you their buns and they readily agreed?
Man, I gotta emigrate to your country. Put the kettle on, Monty, I'm-a-comin'!!

Of the three, I must confess, two were somewhat scary though the third was not too horrifying. What do you expect in Northern Alberta when there are only four hours of daylight come December and it is minus 30? The girls concentrate on staying warm not looking good and the men suffer from snow blindness.Worthy4England wrote:Which bit, that you saw, gave it away?Bruno wrote:I had to look twice to find out if they were ladies!

Take out the words "staying warm" and "in Northern Alberta" bits, and you're not far off describing Blackpool.Montreal Wanderer wrote:Of the three, I must confess, two were somewhat scary though the third was not too horrifying.
