Congratulations, RLH. In my day none of these three subjects could be done at A level - nor could one study English Language or Creative Writing at University. One could study English of course, but literature not language. Actually we were supposed to know the language and how to write before going to university.

Huge congrats...

I went to Lancaster - had a great time.

And I know a recent graduate who combined Eng Lit with Creative Writing there - and he loved it.

My daughter got 3 As and a B today. (V proud dad, here!). She goes to Bath Spa to study Art and Creative Writing in 2010, after a year doing an Art Foundation Dip. we're having a good day... :D

I'm off out tonight to celebrate the second anniversary of my A-Level results. There was no better time for me than between getting results and going to uni - nothing to worry about and a month of pure partying! Enjoy!

She'll have a whale of a time. I think I've probably told you before, but Bath is a wonderful place to study. I'm going into my final year now, I think there may be a tear in my eye after I (hopefully) graduate.
