What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

anyway - hadn't heard that for so long I just had to come home and put it on LOUD - cracking stuff!

no idea what it is about, but the room is humming harder and the ceiling just flew away and across the road road there are 16 vestal virgins getting the bus for Southend....
Please, please tell me you didn't trip the light fandango and do cartwheels across the floor. The pictures running around my head right now are mind-boggling.
:D no - I tripped on a training show and ate a waggon wheel (now I'm feeling kind of seasick) - does that count? the bus hasn't come for those virgins - they look cold - should I invite them in for a cup of tea?

I thought that Procol Harum 'skipped the light fandango', Tango.

I think that you're confusing that with someone or other 'tripping the light fantastic'.

Though I , personally, would have absolutely no idea as to whether a fellow was doing either one or the other! :?

I don't know whether to be happy for you now, or sad in front of tomorrow morning. :-)

today being Good Friday (and having now done both my services) I shall probably sit in the dark with a bottle of red wine and listen to Bach's St John Passion turned on very loud - surely one of the greatest opening choruses of all time?

here's Simon Rattle showing that he knows what he's doing.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEe-y8KxNkQ

then I shall sink into Gorecki's Seven Sorrowful songs...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEaF873VGTM

stunningly hauntingly sorrowful

(then I might watch Coach Trip!)

On another fetive season I know, but have you heard Misa Criola? Jose Carreras did a fine version. Brilliant listening. Love the "Gloria"

Now I don't really like that R'n'b whatever, but Alicia Keys is something special. Have pretty much all her solo stuff, and this song, without Jay Zed dicking about with it is beautiful. Am on her (figuratively unfortunately) tonight from now till pub....again.

I meant this

Girl has a voice.

Even better with this ever so tasty Malbec. Cheers y'all - Happy Easter.

Belting album sir. Made even more so when you consider it is B-Sides and covers.
