He's 25/1 alongside Harrington. I just think he lacks that little bit extra.
You see, to me, it's precisely that little bit extra he does have - character. It isn't mere talent that does it for Poulter.

That's Woods chap has some bottle too.

See, I still have Poulter down as being a nonce!

He's a grade A nice person.

But nice guys rarely come first.

2 of my bets are going well - Woods for the win, and Kim E/W. The less said about Fisher the better!

So far no holes in one (that I've seen, anyway). My only bet is doing very nicely.

I need to lay mine off on a dead cert in the National to break even I think....

This could well be the most dramatic Masters ever, even before the critical final round. Mickleson pulling back FIVE SHOTS from Westwood in two holes, players getting eagle after eagle, Choi and Couples holing long putts to bring them back.....I can't remember any tournament being so good during the third round before.

Oh my God, Mickleson a foot away from a third straight eagle on the 15th.

Westwood isn't doing much wrong, apart from one hole. Mickelsen in on fire but I still fancy Westwood to dig in. Some crazy stuff going on right now.

Well, this is my 45th, and this one still has a way to go yet before it can claim that title.

The old saying is that "The masters only really starts on the back nine on Sunday"

By then, Mickleson could be out of sight, Woods could have taken over, or we really could have a classic on our hands.

An old friend of mine - a sports fan but not a golfer, summed it up by saying that Year in Year out, the Masters provides the best night of sports viewing of the year.

So lets see what happens tonight.

I really would love Westwood to win - but I will get a bollocking from my son who is in Africa - I promised to back Westwood - forgot to get to the bookies - and now have an email enquiring how much we stand to win. Whoops!
What goes around may still come around

Pressure's building. Lee still hanging in there, Choi steady as a rock, just gone to 10 under, and Poulter and Couples playing great golf. Mickelsen might just be showing a bit of strain, and Tiger's all over the place. Great stuff

I did think of our resident Pool fan when I saw it go in, especially as it was an also-ran, a complete non-event

Choi goes eleven under, Woods improves and Freddy Couples is a cool as a chilled bottle of San Miguel. Leaderss still there, but it's the chasers doing the magic. All getting tough at the top.

Freddy goes 10 under now.

Aye, ten minutes later he eagles a par four and follows it with a birdie. :(

If you hit one in the trees at the Muni you'll be lucky to see it again. At the Masters he hits two in the trees and is still putting for a four. Okay, he missed it, but should they change the venue to Bolton Muni?

Me and the wife had 1 & 2 in the National. I'll quit while I'm ahead.
