Maybe I should start at a lower level just get used to it again!
I always play through on normal first and then go back and play through on the harder difficulties.

I don't have much time anymore and my reflexes aren't what they used to be. Hardened is fine till you get a really difficult bit and then its frustrating playing over and over and over.

But I'd say MW2 overall is pretty easy compared to others!

You shouldn't have too much trouble on "hardened" on any Call of Duty game if you've payed a fair few, but Veteran is a bitch due to the constantly respawning bullshit.

As for onilne, I'd emplore anyone who likes onlike FPS to try Battlefield Bad Company 2 out, for me it's superior in every single way online, and to be honest I enjoyed the single player campaign more as well.

End of the month should be fantastic, Super Street Fighter IV and Fifa World Cup 2010, both great games. SSFIV fixes a lot wrong with th first SFIV, especially online!

Splinter Cell is worth a look if you've got friends you can play the co-op modes with online, otherwise, at 6-7 hours long it's a very short experience for your money, I'd still say it's a good game though. However I feel that it's far more action based than previous games in the series.

I played again last night and seemed to get the hang of it a bit more, I think I'm just out of practice.

I've also deducted that on some levels you've just got to leg it instead of trying to be clever!

Is it worth buying? I've always felt world cup versions of games were a bit of a rip off?

It's one for the sales, it's not mega, but it is a lot of fun

Yeah I had a belting weekend with the new domination pack, but all's it does now is can't find any games to join. Looked on the IW forums and it's a common problem

Yep, same happened last time round with Call of Duty. It'll resolve itself soon. Once again, I'd heartily reccomend you try Bad Company 2, the devs have promised to NEVER charge for maps and have already added 4, all free.

Personally speaking I think it is, the gameplay has changed and they've fixed some absolutely killer problems (chipping the goalkeepers for example was simple as they were programmed to rush you 1 on 1) from FIFA 10. The presentation is, well, it's TV quality, the visuals are slightly better too but the gameplay is the big draw. It's so much more fluid, it's hard to describe, but you can chest the ball down now properly as well. Add to that the fact that the Asian teams are in there for the first time in ages and I think it's well worth a look. I'd imagine Tesco etc would have if for £29.99 or similar on launch anyway, so not too expensive.

As for Ghostbusters, it's a bloody awful game. If you actually enjoyed the films then avoid it unless you are *desperate* for a fix.

Have Asian teams not normally been in a world cup game?

Not for a while, licensing issues.

Could always get your fill by importing Winning Eleven J-League though.

Upcoming game wise, not allowed to say very much but Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption are well worth a look.

Have found out that all the kerfuffle with me trying to get online is due to my NAT setting being "strict", and struggling to resolve it with the BT hub.

you wanna frig about with the settings on the 192 . 168 . 1 . 254 page .

or buy a non-bt router.

the second one will probably be easier. although other bt services might need the hub.

FIFA is very good, but I wouldn't pay £40 for it really.

Red Dead is very impressive, has some seriously good stuff in the online modes as well.

Yeah I have the same problem.

I have tried forwarding ports and everything that I have read about it, but with no luck.

Me three.
Weird though cos it used to be fine up 'til a few months ago. Tech Support suggests getting a router from their xbox approved list but I'm concerned that I'll shell out 90 quid for a new one just for it not to make a blind bit of difference.

Have you both tried the port forwarding stuff on your router?

Have you tried testing your connection on the xbox dashboard? I have to do that if my NAT type deteriorates at all.

If the FIFA world cup demo was anything to go by, stick with Fifa 10, the world cup version just feels like a polished product to an already very good game.
