See, using the term AC Milan is similar to people saying 'Bolton Wanderers Football Club' when referring to us. I know you don't like that!

It's Internazionale and Milan
Bolton Wanderers FC, surely.

:pissed: at least it's truthful... it should be the prelude to every Bernard Manning joke...

Years ago a group of us were in the Embassy club, and Manning is doing his turn on stage when my mate stood up. "Where the f*kc do you think you are going"? Shouted big Bernard. "I'm going for a p*ss before the comedian comes on" shouted my mate. Manning let fly with some of the funniest vitriol I've ever heard in my life and my mate quickly sat down and buried his head. To his credit though, Manning came over later and bought my mate a pint saying it was one of the best heckles he had heard in a while.....................but never try it again or I'll have you thrown out!..................Fat basT*rd

Not really sure what this means CAPS - sorry... does it mean that you have lost your job? If so, sorry to hear it, that's really crap...

if not - then what is it about? (is it summat I can get angry about too? - it doesn't take much!)

Giles Clark is a spineless, slimy cricket administrator

I am unemployed

Bolton MBC have refused my sons application for a bus pass - he's 11...the criteria is that you must live more than 3 miles from the school - this 3 miles can include footpaths through parks (in my sons case, about 3/4 of a mile through a wooded park)

When it was pointed out I wouldn't be letting my 11 year old through the park in the dark, they responded 'well, of course you wouldn't, we wouldn't expect you to'

So, he either walks 3.2 miles on the roads or gets the bus

Well, erm, yes

ahh - bummer! we have to pay a bloody fortune for buses for my middle son - cos the college he goes to is a gnats whisker over the border to the next made-up london administration area, so he doesn't get a pass.... (or at least he can't use it on that bus)

sorry about the continued unemployment.... anything in the pipeline?

No, not yet

Might mooch down to the job centre to be told I'm not entitled to any benefits in the morning and check out the minimum wage jobs on offer

Or, thinking of getting wifey to give her job up

Maybe we can get him a bus pass then

I saw the start of a report on the telly today about the rise in homelessness..

the bloke said..

"Today it was revealed that homelessness has increased to record levels. The real tragedy is that 20% of them are women."

really??? what about the tragedy of a whopping 80% being men? Or is it 5x more of a tragedy for a woman to be homeless than a man?

What I would like to know though Bish, is how many have made themselves intentionaly homeless. IE Being evicted for a whole list of misdemeanours from racking up gazzillions in unpaid rents, to arson, drug activity etc? I bet it's a lot.
Just saying like...............
