Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Pubs are fecking great, aren't they?

Is there anywhere better than a pub?

No.

So why do we even try? Eh?

Last night i went to a Bury cinema for a live screening of the National Theatre's production of The Cherry Orchard.

I've never really got Chekhov before - but this production was as clear as crystal, wonderfully acted, particularly by Zoe Wanamaker, was funny, and moving, and contained real debate about enduring themes.

Excellent.

Great iniative to be able to see the National Theatre live - in 500 cinemas world wide and growing.

Going swimming tonight. First time in about 10 weeks.

Going to be a hard session.

Off to the Lakes tonight in preparation for my marathon tomorrow which means a sleepless night in a B&B in Windermere without a full English to cheer me up :?

What a healthy lot we are!

Anyway the swim went well and then today I signed up to a conditioning course with a coach at my club.

Hills, sprints, squats, pressups for a continuous 45 minutes.

Where am I going tonight? Couch.

I'm going out in Manchester on Thursday with a very lovely girl (an Oxford Uni Art student, no less) that I met in a club on Saturday night. Meeting her at Piccadilly station - any recommendations as to what to do? It's a daytime meeting... Help would be vastly appreciated.

Here's one - buy her some lunch somewhere.

Somewhere smart

Don't take her to Red Hot World Buffet

City cafe at mint hotel... Good food, good wine, good, friendly service...

Market menu not overwhelmingly expensive...

Art at the Cornerhouse... Current exhibitions...

I'd ask her to explain it all to you... decent cafe food in the Cornerhouse first floor also...

Going back to work this afternoon! Maternity leave has ended :-( Sniff!

Still, am only doing 2 half days and then it's the end of term and summer holidays so it's not all bad ;)

Will feel weird leaving my babies :(

Just hosted a thrilling athletics coaches meeting and now have a huge long list of jobs to do including emailing the endurance coach and basically telling him to piss off hogging the track with his group all the time. Tsk. these distance runners eh, Gary and Harry?! ;)

More Pre-season training.. After the best part of 3 weeks of sun and swimming pools, my feet have turned into jelly.. Blisters all over the place!

I used to be able to jab pins and put matches out on the bottoms of my feet and not feel a thing..
