Had an incident on my bike last night. I was going down the bank onto the gym car park and a bloke whipped his car into the parking space i was approaching smacking me with his front wing.

Face planted the windscreen and hit the ground with a heavy thud. My head and hip are creasing but what hurts me more (well my wallet), is my back wheel is buckled and the tyre wall has some how been shredded. Seeing a windscreen coming to your face is a bit weird!

Did some damage to his car though!

I don't see why not if it his his fault and he has damaged your property with his car!

(or rather - claim it off HIM - and HE claims it off his insurance)

Say you've had problems 'down there' every since. Squeeze a few more quid out of it.

Leisure Lakes is like my mecca. theiving feckers tho, when it comes to the workshop, or apparel, equipment, etc - i go there to try things on and ask advice... then go home and purchase online! 8)

i did get my latest bike from there tho, they have pretty much cornered the market.

Specialized or Cannondale. Not a fan of Giant. Go with what feels right, small differences can make a big difference in ride quality, depending on riding style.

It's all relative, you can get a giant build that would be x10 better than a low end Cannondale. But Cannondale is the most prestigious brand amongst the 3.

I have a specialised atm too, am also really pleased with it but spesh are like having a ford car, solid & reliable but every bugger has one!

I dunno what your budget is or your agenda, but its all about running 29" wheels these days, so ask about two-niner's in yer lbs (local bike shop)

The problem with many Cannondales are those awful lefty forks!
