Someone always ends up going down a hill in a runaway bathtub or some home made cart, terrible!
then there was heartbeat and the Royal...
some of us are old enough to remember decent sunday telly - like the Onedin Line - and wasn't Howard's Way on a sunday? if not, it should have been!
Wasn't "That's Life" on a Sunday too? Where would the world have been without a dog that could say sausages?

Dracula, 1992 version
Much more faithful to the book (so far) than I might have hoped

Hopefully it will improve.

No, Claire. Can't stand her.General Mannerheim wrote:who is it, the Columbian?jmjhb wrote:Modern Family is a bit overrated in my view. It's funny, but not deserving of such praise and awards. Also it has one of the most annoying characters on TV.General Mannerheim wrote:on the back of all the Emmy fuss i 'acquired' the first season of Modern Family. watched the first four last night - its pretty funny!
also got, after always scoffing at the mention of it before, Downton Abbey - but not looked at that yet
Parks and Recreation is far better imo.

I know what you mean, and yeah reckon someone could do a decent update of it now. They do seem to like re-boots and re-imaginings. Didn't mind Ryder but I do struggle to find her attractive.
I just enjoyed how it was reasonably faithful, even the scary-ass scenes in the castle with the maidens and the Count scaling the walls were well realised. And the disturbing scene in the garden with the wolf. Crikey.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
when you quote yr post you can still see the proper urls.
i assume the boards software only lets the first 50 or so 'clickthru' to them , before changing it, so this site doesnt get badmarked/blacklisted/hated or its a bug or summert else altogether.
