For sure ... & I see you played with Art Garfunkle too.The Axman wrote:Nah, he's standing, far left.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Which Famous People have you met
I've met surprisingly few given my advancing years.
Stu Francis
Ian Gillan
Liz Yelling
Terry Alderton
Vernon Kay and Tess Daley
Lenora Critchlow
Not massive names but all of them happy to chat for a couple of minutes, apart from Stu Francis who told me to f*ck off.

Chris Lucketti gave me a signed shirt once at a sports presentation thing at school

I once met God. He was flanked by Gabriel, Michael, and a host of Seraphim. He told me to go out and destroy the world. I'm thinking about it.

Just misread that, but was impressed. I'd love to be told to f*ck off by St. Francis
"Oi, f*ck off. Leave the squirrels alone". that bit spoken by St. Francis

I was thinking of using the axe to deadly effect, actually. It's the thought of the blisters I'll get that's putting me off. I really hate blisters along that soft cushion of flesh on the palm just beneath one's fingers.thebish wrote:and you'll do it by unleashing the cuckoo clocks and the virulent moss??The Axman wrote:I once met God. I was with John Leslie when I met Ulrika Jonsson. Clearly something had 'gone on' between them. This was just before it all hit the news.

I have a famous cousin who, sadly, has refused all of our invitations to join our family gatherings...it'd just not tennis!

Having met you the other night, I'm thinking Jerry Springer.
Someone else semi-famous I've met and was reminded of the other night - Nicholas Gleaves (Actor and Bolton fan)
Actually, he was in the year below me at primary school and a thoroughly nic chap.
I also met Terry Alderton the other day. He was top of the bill at my daughter's PTA Comedy night. Had a chat with him afterwards. He's very strange.
