I'm not so sure that Anthony Ogogo won that fight at all, but 15 - 10 says he did. So :oyea:

Was half expecting the other guy to get it, but maybe the judges see different things to us. He's sure of a bronze now anyway so,yeah, well done.

I really like Ogogo, his attitude is brilliant and the story behind what's spurring him on is what makes the Olympics so special.

However, in his last two fights I thought he'd lost them in the last round, his head looked like a rag dolls being beaten. Like TD said, the judges see things differently and they're the ones who know how to score, so I'm happy to trust them if he keeps on winning!

I'm off to the Olympics tonight at Old Scaffold for the Men's Footie Semi Final between Brazil and South Korea.
Still a bit miffed the Referee and his Assistant didn't spot just how far off his line the SK Keeper was when he saved Sturridge's (poor) penalty in Cardiff on Saturday but so be it. Should be a cracking match!

Didn't like the look of Idowu's first attempt in the triple jump qualifying.

Going to the basketball quarters tomorrow. Was hoping to see the USA but they were moved to the later session because they're more "primetime". Obviously disappointed but the games we're seeing are two local derbys that should be competitive.

It was a little ropey, wasn't it. Having said that, with the way the rest of Team GB™ has performed, there isn't really a great deal hinging on his medal, nor indeed after his snubbing of the team ethos do I feel a great deal of sympathy.

Naturally, I was always behind him should he win gold!

Is he the one who disappeared and couldn't be contacted by the team?

No pace down the runway. Completely fouled second attempt, another very short effort for his third. Looks on his way out to me unless he can pull something out of the bag.

He's out. I'm shouting for the Brownlees in the Triathlon now.

So did he only get three attempts? Very limp exit.

Just watched it. Far from impressive. It might have helped had he not weighed himself down with those redhooclos Gyppo earings

Probably thought he was billlybigbollocks going into the games and in the 10 days he's had to wait, all his thunder has been taken and a whole new generation of sporting stars have been born and overtaken him in terms of popularity.
