Mickelsen's spent more time in the trees than Tarzan yet still gets clear shots at the green. Not right on a course like this.

Nobody misses putts on purpose mate. Right now it's all going for them. It can change easily enough.

Yanks are really playing top level golf. If they can keep that up they'll walk it. That said, the pressure is on them to do it. If we keep playing and improve a bit it could all change very quickly. Matter of fact, if they keep this up I'll be the most surprised man on the planet.

Just turned it on while follow the Wanderers commentary...We need to turn it around big time and soon.

Simpson/Watson A/S Poulter/Rose after 9
Bradley/Mick'son 5 up v W'wood/Donald (9)
Dufner/ Z Johnson 1 up v Colsaerts/Garcia (7)
Furyk/Snedeker 2 up McIlroyMcDowell (6)

Europe are fcuking awful, missing putts all over the place.

This could end up a record thrashing tomorrow - European players are abysmal, its men against boys !

Not saying they did it on purpose. But our lot have underperformed massively and put no pressure at all on the US.

Easier to keep making putts when your opponents rarely make birdies....

Sport is very simple to you.

Out of interest do you play any sports?

If only a few more of the European players had the balls of Poulter....he does not deserve to be on a losing side IMO.

Magnificent from Poulter, 5 birdie finish to win the match.

He is an absolute star in Ryder cups, I don't think we can turn round a four point lead.

If by some miracle we do, then Poulter is sports personality of the fecking year....

It was quite magnificent entertainment. Brilliant golf from the Yanks, hard to live with that sort of skill and a touch of luck that we didn't get with putts. Colsaerts the unluckiest guy on the course. Poulter magnificent, well backed by McIlroy. If tomorrow's as good it should be brilliant. Donald and Garcia did well to hang on after their comeback. The manners of the "U.S.A." howlers had to be seen and heard to be believed

Oh, by the way, the manager's name is Olazabal, just in case you and P.T.want to start an Olly "out" campaign.

No, I quite like Olazabal - he comes across as a switched on, motivational coach who's played & won at the very top level and who will get a lot of respect from the players. Unfortunately the European team collectively just are not as good as the 12 Americans.

Totally different to Owen Coyle - he's not played at the top level (apart from a few games for Ireland) and hasn't won anything of note and is clearly not respected by the players, and he has a much better squad than most of the competition - he just can't motivate & manage !!

Kinell, a "Owen out" campaign on an American golf course in Chicago now. We've gone global.
