Forgot to say, I'm also cooking (well, re-heating) my din-dins too, and I've just burnt it to a crisp. Shit, crisps and chocolate for dinner then , followed by a pudding of medjool dates - yum yum.
That's not a leopard!

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Have you tried medjool date sparkling wine? Some one gave us a bottle about 6 months ago and at the time I thought you bastard, could have given us some proper alcohol of some sort. Cracked it open the other night as my parents are here (push the boat out eh!). Was expecting it to be shite but was pretty decent. I'd still prefer a beer, but if you're driving or have run out it's fine. I think the brand was Bateel who do posh dates over here.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Forgot to say, I'm also cooking (well, re-heating) my din-dins too, and I've just burnt it to a crisp. Dug out Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. for a re-run. Superb film. No James Bond stuff but a really excellent drama. Add Julio singing one of my favourite songs, La Mer to finish it and you have pure enjoyment.

Watched one I hadn't seen before last night. Deserter, a film based on the book Legionaire and the story of the French Foreign Legion in the last couple of years before Algeria's independence. Gritty but enjoyable. Also based on a true story.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
A weird example of an average film being elevated by just doing the basics very well. Pretty creepy the first time too
until the vietnam vet turns up and it gets a little silly.
Annoyed Grunt wrote:Event Horizon....brilliant.

Caught up with Boardwalk empire. Brutally, viciously brilliant.
Rossetti is brilliantly unhinged, and truly frightening.

I'll be having a look at "Westminster Abbey" BBC2 at 9-0'clock. Fascinating place. Been in many such like but never this one. Part 1 of 3 apparently.

Watched 'Love and Other Drugs' last night. About as good a chick flick as I've ever seen.

Just watched Silver Linings Playbook. Wasn't as cliche as the trailer led me to believe. Really quite funny. I'd recommend it. Does get into cliche romcom territory towards the end though.
