Re: Wimbledon thread
I'm sure she was embarrassed yes. But far from disgraceful, it was her first slam final. Hopefully she will get another chance.thebish wrote:total disgrace... an embarrassment..BWFC_Insane wrote:Undoubtedly. She's completely bottled it so far.TANGODANCER wrote:Never seen her play this erratic. Unles she improves rapido she'll blew it. Not like me to say that but she's pretty shocking. Think the occasion got to her.
Re: Wimbledon thread
I think it's going to be an ace final. Nadal-Federer in '08 good. That's a big jinx to throw out but they are both incredible players playing incredibly well. 60-40 Djokovic, but I really hope Andrew can pull it off. If he plays front foot forwards then, given the trouble Del Potro caused the big thumb, then Murray has got a good shout.

Can't see anything other than a Djokovic win. But I'm hoping otherwise of course.

You really do struggle at times to talk about certain things with any sense of perspective don't you!
You can't see anything other than a Djokovic win? You cannot even imagine that Murray might? Yeah, all right.

The law of averages states that you'll get one right one day. Hasn't happened yet, mind.

Was actually hoping BWFCi had taken advantage of the weather and gone to Gulliver's World today. Ah well, I can dream. Just like a Bolton game, hope and believe. Come on Andy..

Not a huge tennis fan but would have liked to watch Andy Murray today, what with him being a brit. Gutted I have to work.

Posh boxes are jam packed with "celebrities" with not interest in tennis or Andy Murray but intent on being on the box. Yeah..

Oh, I'm not, it's an opinion. Somehow, I rather expected you to be the one to contest it though.Bruce Rioja wrote:And you're sure of that how exactly?TANGODANCER wrote:Posh boxes are jam packed with "celebrities" with not interest in tennis or Andy Murray but intent on being on the box. Yeah..

Re: Wimbledon thread
Possibly on those well known tennis fans, the Rooneys, Victoria Beckham and a few government fans, and my right to have one of course, but never mind, you carry on and put me in my place, I'm sure you've done a personal survey to the contrary. Enjoy your strawberries and cream.Bruce Rioja wrote:So on what've you based your opinion then?TANGODANCER wrote:Oh, I'm not, it's an opinion.
