Probably related to the brewing family since they use that name. Fourth son of fourth son sent to Australia type of thing.

Made a trip over the handlebars yesterday. Only a few cuts on the leg and a bruised heel. Was pumped to finally be able to connect two trails that I like, but the ATV trail was a bit radical for my limited mountain biking experience. The bridge over the river, which is shown on google maps was probably removed 40+ years ago but the river which is quite low looked rideable and that was also a mistake. My own fault, and doubt I will be repeating the venture. Also have to go to the bike shop today as that also received some injuries, a bit more serious than my own.

Seems unlikely. Last year in the mountains I felt he was holding back for Wiggins. Wiggins was their designated No.1. and thus chosen to win. Wiggins was a better time trialist, but in the mountains Froome is a monster as long as the team is there to support him. Accidents and illnesses aside Froome seems to be the world's dominant rider right now.

Crazy stage!

Valverde gone completely, as with Griepel (for this stage's points anyway), Saxo break and are trying to put time into Sky.

Nothing like a bit of wind to spice up a tour. Makes the build up to Sunday's monster mountain stage much more exciting.

Absolutely bonkers stage! Incredible drama with the splits in the peloton. Great tactics by opqs and Saxo, and belkin showing a bit of nous. Seriously worried by sky though. No way bernie woild have let that happen, and it was depressing seeing rogers up there with contador at the end. Sky looking very very fragile.

Can't wait for Sunday up ventoux! Also good to see that pesky Argentinian marcel kittel left behind yesterday ;)

I've ridden on shrooms before but don't remember riding like that. It was a good ride though and I did get pretty high.
