National Football Museum

Anyone been there since it relocated from PNE to Manchester and if so how did you rate it?

It seems to be getting quite good reviews on TripAdvisor albeit the football plus stuff is criticised as being a bit dear. I was wondering if that section was a bit like Kevin Keegan's Soccer Circus setup for those of you that happen to have been to its outlets at Center Parcs (Whinfell) or Braehead?

I've still not been, but will be going next week. I'll report back.

Shamefully not been since I walk past it every day, but I also hear the "take penalties" thing isn't worth it.

Museum itself is well worth a visit, the optional extras though are a complete rip off, for example £2.50 to play a passing game that lasts all of 60secs, and £5 for a penalty shootout game.

Been to both. Don't know why they moved it, it looks the same just in a different place. Its alright, was more interested in the rest of the People's Museum though to be honest.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
