Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Was it Snow White at the Opera House you went to Clapton?
Certainly was. We thought it not quite as good as previous years. Warwick Davies was great, born to it, but Priscilla Presley was very poor. No comic timing and a real weak link in the show.

A bit there in white just in case your next line is "we're there tomorrow!"

Ha Ha no we went on Christmas Eve and thoroughly enjoyed it, we have been going traditionally every Xmas Eve to watch these pantos for the last 10 years, and Tam Ryan has been excellent every time. Hope you enjoyed it

Oh, yeah, loved it! I took my own daughter for many years and saw lots of stars there over the years (Arthur Askey, Les Dennis, Tommy Cooper I think, Les Dawson and Michael Barrymore to name a few) but then there was a hiatus until the grandchildren came along and we're now doing it all over again. Fabulous night out and a highlight of my year.

Today was the opening of the Ma Vlast festival, RNCM's long weekend of chamber music originating from Czech/Slovak territories...

And I and my wife escaped the horrors of the world for nearly three hours, with Dvorak string quartets and Janacek's song cycle The Diary of One Who Disappeared.

The first were sombre, majestic, light and frivolous in turn. and always delightful - I love Dvorak. The second is the story of an illicit love affair between a young plough-boy and a gypsy woman, full of the joys of sex, guilt and betrayal. Beautifully sung. and, it seems, motivated by an obsessional love affair of his own. Wiki says: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Diary_ ... isappeared" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Our self-declared Year of Live Music takes another happy step... :D

It'd be Richard E Grant for me, but yeah, I know where you're coming from.

I'm not a city man myself. I think most city skylines, especially New York, are hideous.

My opinion of course so each to their own.

Indeed, Malc. I'm very much a city man (with the exception of Las Vegas) that can't be doing with beaches or beach resorts (because they're all like Las Vegas). Post on, Kinty :oyea:
