Well done chaps. I knew BP wouldn't make it! It was looking a bit overcast this morningBruce Rioja wrote:They've managed to cock the times up again so haven't issued them yet. That'll affect ................ oh, just me (you lazy arses )
I was too frightened to go on the moors on my own in the dark so risked a road run last night. 8 miles at a reasonable pace and no ill effects.

Mate, you'll be amazed with yourself, and fair play (I think you know this already though). They seem like 'big asks' but you'll soon realise that once you've cracked the first couple of minutes - you'll piss the rest. Next up? Hardy Mill Road, mate.CAPSLOCK wrote:A few weeks and I might pop downBruce Rioja wrote:Leverend and I will be re-visiting the tradition of turning up on the back of a skin-full. Re: The athletics/running thread
Not sure how i missed this thread...Par's are great, and got me into running...but the continual chasing of a PB as I get a week older is frustrating!
Re: The athletics/running thread
The big breakfast and foul-mouthed company are what get me there in the absence of PBs! Although now I'm living in 'God's Own Country' (yawn) I'll not be there so much. There's some highly impressive eye candy too. Not just about PBs you know.officer_dibble wrote:Not sure how i missed this thread...Par's are great, and got me into running...but the continual chasing of a PB as I get a week older is frustrating!

Which yerkshire run do you do? Might have to check the eye candy myself!
Re: The athletics/running thread
I did Roundhay parkrun. Only been here a week. I'm going to do Fountains Abbey on the 31st and spend a couple of hours looking around. Where's your nearest?officer_dibble wrote:Which yerkshire run do you do? Might have to check the eye candy myself!
