Batty, clearly the yellow will turn heads, but not always in a good way. I can't say I'm a fan. It's perhaps only worse than the turquoise ones you see aroundMy second choice would've been Racing Green, but silver was a clear winner. Silver looks especially good on those rare occasions you actually drive it with the top up, as the picture of mine I posted should illustrate!
As Duj pointed out, get a 1.8 if you can. There is plenty of power there, for the car.

What's with the cupholder on the passenger side only?

I've changed my mind from the yellow, I'm testing the silver tomorrow morning

Well make sure that you ok it first with 50's Quiff. He has this whole sexual repression/cup holder/seating capacity/ownership, thing going on that you wouldn't want to fall on the wrong side of. Not quite so sure what it is that he means though?Batman wrote:Dujon wrote:Right, Batty, time for a report.
Ended up cancelling and I'm going in the morning, so hold the back page

Go the MX5, Batman.
I was looking at them very closely a couple of years ago at this place - www.mx5city.co.uk.
Like most Japanese cars, they're incredibly reliable.
I was driving an Audi A6 until last week, when one too many blown engines put paid to that.
Just ordered the new TT in dolphin grey - 3 months to deliver the bugger ... but, get in !!
As someone posted above, zee German cars (Audi, MB, BMW) are the most unreliable and the most expensive to repair according to recent studies.

Well, he was accused of driving a women's car and of not being a real man.Bruce Rioja wrote:Well make sure that you ok it first with 50's Quiff. Oh, and I drive a 206, with no hope of an upgrade to an MX5 anytime soon.
My mum's new TT arrives at the end of the month... horrible waste of car on a woman.

Interesting, Jonny. I'm on my third German car and they're the only cars that I've never had a single moment of trouble with. My boss however has the higher spec'd version of mine and his spends more time on the ramps than it does on the road.jonnybwfc wrote: As someone posted above, zee German cars (Audi, MB, BMW) are the most unreliable and the most expensive to repair according to recent studies.
