Such enthusiasm - I'm sure if you asked him nicely, he'd risk parting with his betting slip to you for - say - £6. £5 for the bet and £1 for the handling charge.bobo the clown wrote:There's 3 games left !!Worthy4England wrote:CrazyHorse wrote:Sticking a fiver at the start of the season on Marvin Sordell being the league's top scorer.
Nil desperandum, et al.
I could try and broker this, if you're not just a tyre kicker, for £6 + my standard market commission*

The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Yesterday I saw somebody sat next to me in business drop £5 out of their pockets as the lesson ended, I picked it up and followed them out the room and in the corridor told them they had dropped £5 out of their pocket, bastard not only did not say thank you but even accused me of nabbing it out of his pocket. disgraceful. Next time that happens at school I certainly will not be returning the money, some people down here are nothing short of complete wa**ers.
. It is times like this that I cannot f**king wait to finish my A- levels and move back up to Bolton.

Met my new boss today. He's a DMB. Bloody typical.
Nice bloke as it happens (So far) apart from that.
He's not starting with us until June, which gives me time to rig up a mock Tevez 'Welcome to Preston' sign, change his screensaver to Shaun Goater or the Nolan picture with him wheeling away after scoring the winner at OT. How else might I greet his arrival??

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
It is not the first time that has happened though I have found peoples money before and have not been thanked which considering it would be rare practise for somebody in my school to act in the way I did it is appalling that I was not thanked, 97% of lads in my school would of slipped in their pocket and that would have been that. I am not saying I would take that approach outside of school, just inside school it is best to get rid of most of your morals.Montreal Wanderer wrote:So his bad manners have made you dishonest. What is it you said, a Liberal is a man who isn't affected by the issues?Worthy4England wrote:Sarin, ricin, carpet bombing, second hand WMD's - all good.Bijou Bob wrote:Met my new boss today. He's a DMB. Bloody typical.

Personally bob, I'd go with pinning him down when he arrives in the office, and getting the needle out like the eponymous bird in Dragon Tattoo. Only nothing namby pamby like the stomach, right across the face. I am a filthy, dirty red.
Then wash it off with Hydrochloric acid.
He'll just see it as good old fashioned harmless banter, trust me. If he doesn't, then you kill him. Ok?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

I've just checked and he was 25/1 - I think I *may* have been drunk when I placed the bet.89bwfc89 wrote:He only needs another 25 or so, you could be on to a winner!CrazyHorse wrote:Sticking a fiver at the start of the season on Marvin Sordell being the league's top scorer.
Yeah, I'm going to need him to bag at least 20 today. Go Marvin!

perhaps a stretch to say I am angry - but the day is yet young!
apparently it's national record shop day (or summat) - so the radio is filled with pretentious knobs saying stuff like "oh yah - I always buy vinyl, I mean, yah - you can hear the scratches, which makes it authentic, yah?"
is next week national cassette tape day where the same knobs come on with: ""oh yah - I always buy vinyl, I mean, yah - you can hear the constant hiss and there's that moment when it all gets tangled in the machine, which makes it authentic, yah?"
and the week after - national pinhole camera week: "oh yah - I always take pinhole, I mean, yah - you can see the noise and it's black and white and upside-down, which makes it authentic, yah? Digital is so soul-less."

If you had of put the money on KD to be top scorer then that would be a reasonable excuse but Sordell, Marvin f**king Sordell.CrazyHorse wrote:I've just checked and he was 25/1 - I think I *may* have been drunk when I placed the bet.89bwfc89 wrote:He only needs another 25 or so, you could be on to a winner!CrazyHorse wrote:Sticking a fiver at the start of the season on Marvin Sordell being the league's top scorer.
