Does the average Englishman wear a pin-stripe suit, carry a rolled umbrella and a copy of the Times to work? Do we all drink tea with little fingers raised and say " say old chap" to everything? A lot of non-English thougt so for long enough. I can't remember any outrage wars starting about it.
calm down Tango - there is no "outrage war" and nobody has alleged that a "crime" has been "committed"

you're right - there is a place for the Bernard Mannings of this world - and you are welcome to that brand of humour - really you are - go ahead and lap it up.

Muslims are terrorists... Kerrymen are thick - ha-fecking-ha

yes - stereoptyping exists - but that doesn't make that list of jokes funny - witless, tired, lazy, contrived drivel...

but - nobody is stopping you chuckling away in your little corner - carry on - there's no challenge to your humour rights here.
Fixed that for ya Bish  .

Pretty standard reply Bish. Over exageration as usual. It's lovely day and I'm calm as can be, not, as you always seem to indicate smashing keyboards with gritted teeth. Is replying or disagreeing forbidden now then? Chill man, like me.

you wrote it on the last page Tango - "In time, these things will die with evolvement bu they're still part of our lives right now. No real crime commited."

Nobody had said a crime had been committed - real or otherwise - yet for some reason you sought to reassure us that no crime had been committed.

Anyway - i offered you summat that it seems certain you'd enjoy - and you throw it back in my face! generosity eh?

I'll look forward to the Tango big book of racial stereotype jokes when it comes out - maybe buy some copies for my children and grandchildren...

(Suarez - great instinctive strike!) I'm off to get the slugs, snails and dirt out of the scrunched up 8ft pool and fill it up with water.... (then wait for it to slime over with pond-weed)

PC police in "that's just not funny" shocker!

Imagine the thought that some joke has stereotypical images within it.

Err it's a joke...not meant to be serious and all that...

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Behave. Show me one person that actually 'believes' any of that.

Well, if you read how silly it is, you may realise it was tongue in cheek and should have had a wink. . Just like the bowler hated English it was all about jokes and stereotyping.

and all Americans are big fat McDonalds munching racists high fiving each other, who think we all sit around reading newspapers in our bowler hats sipping tea out of china cups.

Its just good natured stereotyping, everyone knows its not true deep down but we still say it to each other to take the piss. it would be a pretty dull place to live if we didnt take the piss out of each other all the time. if anyone is ignorant enough to get offended by it then good!

Ah, it was me that got it out of context then, which is strange given the context in which it was posted.

Oh absolutely. It was just Tango's line "There are still people that think that........ ".
Seemed to me that he'd blurred the edges.
