I'd have slapped the cnut on the other cheek. But then again, I'm not Christian...
In fact, I'd have slapped him on all four cheeks, and then possibly started at the beginning.
Might even have told him to eat fried chicken (whatever his racial appearance) just for the shock value

the flaw in that plan (and in my attempt to offer him/her my gloves too - had they not been inside the helmet!!) is that I have no idea who no idea who it was or where s/he is...Lost Leopard Spot wrote:I'd have slapped the cnut on the other cheek. But then again, I'm not Christian...

Been boris biking it to work for a bit. They're awful, but as you say, ain't gonna matter if it's half-inched. Been looking to get a decent one to go on some far-flung adventures, security being the main thing bugging me.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
I only paid £200 notes or it, (but then the same again on upgrades) I had it looking pretty good so it's a bit gutting. I'm a mountain biker really but having to neglect that I've had a few road bikes down here. I like the easy amble to work but the last few weeks with the improved weather I've been all over on it. So impressed with parts of London that most visitors don't see, regents canal, Victoria park, Greenwich observatory, Richmond park etc etc. quality.mrkint wrote:shit man. you insured on it?General Mannerheim wrote:been in London almost a year now, just had second bike bike stolen.

Not this ??

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

So the Tories put the GPs in charge of the health service and now it's collapsing the two sides are playing the blame game.
How predictable. What a disastrous failure the Tories re-organisation of the NHS has been.

Some good advice on lfgss (london fixed gear & single speed) site, re having your bike nicked General. People on look out, street sales etc. And a link (with pictures) of a thieving bstrd who nicks top bikes, breaks 'em down & flogs 'em on e bay. Boasts about how much he makes a year!

+ Railways, utility companies, post office, justice system, police, ambulance & fire services. In fact most things they touch. Wankers.
It would be interesting to know how many ex public service organisations have been put out for 'contestability' and how many Tory MP's ( or friends of, or ex colleagues of, etc), sit on the boards of said organisations now they are privately run.

You want to be here working in it. Shambles doesn't even come close. It's embarrassing. Almost so bad that I feel too ashamed to pick up my salary................but not quite.BWFC_Insane wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-22629703

I know a few who work in it. I used to work, not within it, but as a supplier of services as well. Though that was well back in the halcyon days before Cameron was even thought of....Bijou Bob wrote:You want to be here working in it. Shambles doesn't even come close. It's embarrassing. Anyhow I'm puzzled by this "Mr Hunt is expected to paint a picture of dysfunction across the GP sector, saying they are struggling to cope with demand."
So GP's are struggling with demand. Perhaps then the plan they've pushed through at massive cost and against the wishes of just about every health professional body in the land, to make GP's not only be doctors but run the whole caboodle wasn't exactly a great one. Surely having GP's managing budgets, sitting on committees and boards is simply exacerbating any stretching of demands?
Of course what makes me angry is that this crisis is being well hidden by petty arguments about the non issue that is Europe. You'd almost think Cameron had engineered that deliberately. Actually......
Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Gp's didn't ask for the job but have been given it anyway. Those GP's with positions on the new Clinical Commissioning Groups are being paid an additional 45 grand a year for the work.
Interestingly, whilst the government are convinced that this will create efficiencies (ie savings), where once there were 10 provider organisations in Greater Manchester, now there are 23. Some of them don't know what their role is, what they have been created for or why or even what function they are around to perform.
Mind you, I'm still here piling money into my gold plated pension scheme, so I'm just going to go with the flow.
