5km this morning at Mile End parkrun

It was -6. My fingers were numb after the first lap.

Flatmate reckons I got under 23. I'm not so sure. The bitter temperature sapped so much energy...

Fingers crossed for your sub 23. Just as soon as mine defrost.
I did 6 miles along the Lea Valley towpath. -8 when I started at 08:30 and -5 when I finished!

having said that - I did have a blast down the A12 on the old girl this morning - down to Chadwell Heath.... Boy was that cold! - wind-chill factor on the fingers (at 70MPH) of -670degrees kelvin...

Soft if you ask me. Car had -13 this morning when I set off. Receptionist was claiming -14.5 on hers.

It took me 20 minutes to scrape the ice from the inside of the windows, so I reckon that counts.

Was -13 here too this morning - or so my phone told me as i was snuggled up in my warm bed Its still very icy in Sussex so no running for me (or thats my excuse anyway...)
