Cheers. Not a lot of use if you dont have BBC HD.

I went to see it on Wednesday and am still telling everyone about it. Normally films like that have a lull for about half an hour where they run out of material but that one kept me going right through! Only problem was on the way out, my mate said 'We've really got to get some roofies for when exams finish.' Hardly the message to take from that film.General Mannerheim wrote:Went to see the hangover last night, can honestly state its the funniest film ive ever seen!!!

I had the pleasure last night and this morning to watch a documentary dedicated to one Benjamin Schmid - a violinist/fiddler/free spirit. Even though it was a repeat broadcast - I hadn't seen earlier transmissions - and transmitted from 2035 to 0025 (I forgot the the British F1 Grand Prix was on) it was an unexpected delight. He came across as a really down to earth sort of fellow who, although - his words - performs 100 concerts per year in 30 countries still has his head screwed on. Marvelous.

Indeed, very good.Verbal wrote:Anyone ever watched Firefly, the series which spawned the film Serenity?
My mate lent it to me recently and it's very good indeed. Quite crass and cutting at times, and very funny.
Shame they only made one series.
Serenity was, apparently, the canned second series bundled into a film.

Prior to this afternoon my only experience of the Theatre was Bombay Dreams and two AM-DRAM pantomimes.
Today, however, I went to Regents Park Open Air Theatre to watch an adaptation of The Tempest.
The acting was spellbinding, the audience participation and topical gags were timely and well constructed.
The downpour during the final act, which doused those who stayed (and embarrassed those who didn't), made for a truly memorable afternoon with my wife and daughter.
One of the best days of my life.
