Not as odd as Bish's choice though. He reckoned that it was nailed on for the bloke that founded the NHS?!Annoyed Grunt wrote: Ah.

Planet of the Teddy bears . I might even start watching Doctor Who no Capaldi is the Doctor (I hope he maintains his scariness).
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

More socialist wishful thinking from the owd codger ... just humour him.Bruce Rioja wrote:Not as odd as Bish's choice though. He reckoned that it was nailed on for the bloke that founded the NHS?!Annoyed Grunt wrote:Ah.

It is a little odd. For me the oddest thing is that he looks like he could be David Tennant's father. Just a bit "samey" for me. Still, they always settle well (though I never quite "got" Matt Smith if I'm honest).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I've just had a look at who it is that's played Doctor Who since Tom Baker. He was Dr Who when I was a child, and afterall it is a kiddies TV programme. Maybe there'll be a live 'reveal' on evening television of the next Blue Peter presenter, you never know?!bobo the clown wrote:More socialist wishful thinking from the owd codger ... just humour him.Bruce Rioja wrote:Not as odd as Bish's choice though. I'm utterly stunned to learn that the magnificent Paul McGann played the role for a year. Christopher Eccleston has also played the part. I knew this in advance due to him appearing in an I Am Kloot video and them making a big thing of it. Sylvester McCoy I recognise from something or other but can't quite remember what?!

Re: What are you watching tonight?
McGann just did one feature length episode/film I think.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
well - there you go - my socialist dalek informant was wide of the mark!
as Doctors (not real ones) go - Capaldi will do a good job... Malcolm Tucker isn't the only role he's played - he's actually quite a good actor...

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Bit disappointed with Capaldi, but then he went down in my estimation when he turned up in World War Z.
Re: What are you watching tonight?
he was very good in The Hour... not seen World War Z!
