The Queen is Dead is a fine fine album, although I never liked the sequencing of Never Had No One Ever straight after I Know It's Over, of which it seems a weak facsimile.

Anyway, at the moment I'm listening to Elvis Costello & the Brodsky Quartet's The Juliet Letters, because I haven't heard it in a decade. It's surprisingly good to work to.

I thankyew but I already have the mighty 'Grass's version... on the B-side of a 7" single... there's a proper owd jukebox at Casa Barnet, see...

Mind, I'm interested in hearing how the superb and under-rated Boo Radleys covered the godlike genius of the title track...
