That's ep 4. I've seen one more straight off the internet after it had been on US TV on Sun night.wigan white wrote:Are you watching it on Fox, or the t'interweb??? Same here. The saddest thing being that you know he didn't just do his best to simplify what he said but hadn't even the merest notion that a good many were utterly lost.Annoyed Grunt wrote:The Science of Doctor Who.....haven't a clue what they're on about.......
The room full of invited celebs all with bright beaming faces pretending to be enthralled whilst in fact most having not a clue what he was talking about was a treat though.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Young Miss GtE sat down very excitedly to watch this. Proud dad watched her face light up at points and exclamations like ''that's AMAZING' further enhanced the pride. Didn't have a bloody clue about most of it though although the 'time being constant to a fixed point' was pretty well explained, I thought.

If your young-un likes sciencey stuff GtE can i recommend the MinutePhysics youtube channel? Does a good job of explaining lots of random stuff. some of it is pretty obtuse but there are also bits which are really cool and explained well.

Did anyone watch that 'Escape Artist' 3-part drama with David Tennant? The mind boggles at how that script was commissioned.

I'm two parts through. I thought it was set up to either finish really well and make a really good point, or to go to absolute shit. I'm guessing it does the latter?

Cheers Pal. I shall suggest it.
Re: What are you watching tonight?
Watched the first, thought it might be quite good, then it turned into a ridiculous load of nonsense, plot came across as horribly contrived and totally implausible. Like they'd had a braibnstorming session, chucked a load of ideas in, sellotaped them together and made it into a drama.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:Did anyone watch that 'Escape Artist' 3-part drama with David Tennant? Watched the last 2 back to back accompanied by a nice bottle of red, which is what got me through it.
Rubbish.

Yup. Apart from the alcohol. Should've done the same.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Yes, I quite like it. It's just easy viewing like Person of Interest. easy to pick holes in but not bad.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Anyone watching The Blacklist?

I've really been enjoying Hello Ladies on Sky Atlantic.
So much better than anything Gervais has done solo anyway.
