People actually paid for the MW2 maps?

Crikey, no wonder Activision keep charging over the top prices, people keep paying them!

Anyone who is thinking of buying the new Splinter Cell come friday, bare in mind that it's only about 5 hours long. Asolid 7-8 out of 10, but the co-op stuf (seperate from the main story) is pretty good!

I will not be buying it at the minute, as my 7yo has just worked out how to buy stuff on my live Account...As all the bills I got Friday morning are testament to. :-)

You set up a credit card on your live account? Bad idea, VERY difficult to remove and MS have been known to take xbox live subscription fee's on expired cards as well.

I'd hearily reccomend you use the pre-paid codes in future, gamepointsnow.co.uk are very good.

I manage to pay most of my other online game subs by credit card - never had a problem with any of them for 10 years. I haven't actually got a problem with this one, other than my son is playing on my account and obviously worked out how that you don't actually need a points balance to buy stuff off marketplace.

You won't have a problem until you want to remove it for any reason at all.

For example, if your son has worked out how to use the credit card saved on the account to buy stuff...and you wanted to stop it...

As I say, good luck.

I have put my own security mechanism in place to prevent that happening again.

Sounds like I will have a problem anyhow already. :-)

I do have a couple of people that are buddies and senior people within MS in Europe, if I need to roll some "big guns" out. :-)

I was coerced into having a go at Fifa10 by my Godson earlier in the week, he beat me by four games to nil. Anyway, this got me thinking, is there some sort of default setting for all the players that means the likes of Richard Dunne has the same skillset as Ronaldo, or are the players actually based upom their own ability?
May the bridges I burn light your way

played for hours & hours on MW2 online on saturday – Jesus, that was a rough night’s sleep, just had matches running round and round in my head all night, and I’d wake up every time I got shot, then id hit ‘re-spawn’ and go back to sleep! Video games effecting the mind? Could have some substance!

I got MW2 the other day because it was half price on Play.

God damn it's hard! Either I am just rubbish at it or my lack of FPS game play is taking a hit on how good I am at it.

Story mode or Online?

I completed the story on Veteran without too much difficulty, but it took aaaaaaaaaaages to get any good at the online mode! but you get there when you learn the maps, & have improved weapons and perks etc.

It's in story mode, I can't remember what difficulty it's on, I think that it's on hardened.

Maybe I should start at a lower level just get used to it again!
