LOOOOL. Not at the kid, but at dad! Firstly the run off to celebrate, then the uber-camp about-flounce and mince off to see if the kid is OK!

I have no idea what that even is, Grunto!

They do shame the Reebok Rebels somewhat. Not a proper cheerleader troupe though. I didn't say the token fat grunter miles out of time.

I love them for it though. Remember when that proper American lot came over to show us how it 'should be'. Meh. I much prefer British shambling. Our lot, all at different stages, looking over their shoulders trying to figure out what comes next. Brilliant.

Always knew cats were evil little bastards. My ma's got one that's been plotting to kill me for years.

Image now deleted:

I had an hour over the M60 near Stockport yesterday evening with the camera and tripod. This was one of the images taken. The line of dots across the sky are an aircraft coming in to land at the airport.

A woman in south-west France, who received a telephone bill of nearly 12 quadrillion euros, has had the real amount she owed waived - after the company admitted its mistake. Solenne San Jose, from Pessac outside Bordeaux, said she received a huge shock when she opened the bill for 11,721,000,000,000,000 euros (£9.4qn). This is nearly 6,000 times France's annual economic output. She had requested her account be closed after losing her job last month. The former teaching assistant said she "almost had a heart attack. There were so many zeroes I couldn't even work out how much it was". The phone company, Bouygues Telecom, initially told her there was nothing they could do to amend the computer-generated statement and later offered to set up instalments to pay off the bill. In the end, the company admitted the bill should have been for 117.21 euros only, and eventually waived it altogether. It has also apologised for the gaffe, which it says was down to a printing error and a subsequent misunderstanding between the client and staff at their call centre.
I just found this quite amusing for some reason...Can just see the call centre staff talking through how they can set up installments...

I love these long-exposure night shots...

I did a similar effort of the M25 near our house before leaving the old smoke...

Some really good photo's here. But you would expect that from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year winners photo's.

The Penguin one won but I quite like the mammal winner.

And these are the British winners.

A Bolivian goal keeper saved three penalties after the referee/assistant made them retake it twice. The first one in particular is a great save. The other two are poor penalties.
